Elementary Fine Arts

Private Piano, Instrument, and Voice Lessons

Students may register for private music lessons through the school office. Lessons are scheduled as available during the school day.

Band

In the fall, fourth graders may elect to participate in band. A local music company provides an opportunity for students to experiment with different instruments in order to make an informed decision. Band students present musical selections at school programs and participate in the Fine Arts Festival each spring.

Fine Arts Competition

During the school year, elementary students work on several fine arts categories. Students in grades three through six receive formal art instruction in preparation for the Spring Fine Arts Festival. In January and February, students on each grade level compete to represent their class/grade in the areas of Sword Drill, Spelling Bee, Choir and Poetry Recitation. Additional solo competitions occur in voice, piano, and various instruments. This is an exciting, action-packed day as students represent our school. CCA has been the proud recipient of the First Place Trophy for Overall Points for the last four years. We are very proud of the effort that our students put into preparing for this event.

Jr./Sr. High Fine Arts

The arts program adds breadth to a Cramerton Christian education. It not only pushes students to dramatically improve their talents, but it also provides knowledge and experience. Art, Music, and Drama courses offer students the opportunity to explore and discover the creative gifts which God has given them, and to share these gifts in significant ways. The combination of high expectations, student ability, competitve opportunities make CCA a wonderful place for students to learn to use their talents and abilities in serving the Lord.

Students compete each spring in the SouthEastern Association of Christian School (SACS) Fine Arts Competition. Opportunities in the areas of music, art, speech, and athletics make this a great venue for students of many different abilities to compete.
